What is a small program and niche?
A small program is a place for nerds to gather together and discuss and participate in specialized topics. They have semesterly events and are a great way to meet new people!
A niche, while similar to a small program, is simply a small program with no lead or semesterly events. They are simply a place to discuss and have fun over a topic without any extra involvement.
You can find all our niches and small programs on the discord. More information about our small programs is found below. Do note that some small programs are membership only.
Roll for initiative
Roll for initiative is our table top RPG group. Lean to play games like DND and pathfinder, get matched to a group, or join in on our DM workshops. We have anything for anyone wanting to play TTRPGs.
Pencils of Doom
Pencils of Doom is our local art program which, despite the name, focuses on all forms of art media. Whether you do digital or traditional art, jump on in! Take part in our fun monthly and weekly prompts to keep things lively or just ask for art advice. We are welcoming of artists of all levels!
Block Bois (Nerds+ Only)
Block Bois is the small program for Minecraft. We will hold weekly meetings virtually on the Cephied Minecraft server. Please note that this program is for members only.

Made By Cepheid is a small program for Cepheids to enjoy making nerd-related crafts and making crafts with nerds! Note this program is membership only.
Pokehomies
Pokehomies is where we can all play Pokémon in different aspects! Pokémon Go Days have been every Friday and themed showdown tournaments have been every other Sunday. More events to come for other aspects like TCG and casual play!
Card Shop
The card shop is a place to play card games of all types (mostly focused on MTG). They host meetings every Wednesday at 6 pm. For MTG tournaments, there is a reduced price for members to enter.
Manga Squad
Manga Squad is the small program for enjoying manga, comics, and other drawn material! It runs as both a discussion and book club. We have very chill weekly meetings and usually have dinner after!
Spa Day
Spa Day is Cepheid’s official “guys’ night” program. Join your fellow guys for a night of camaraderie as you get together to have some fun.
Fight Night
Fight Night is Cepheid's official "girls' night" program where we do various activities of your choice. We plan to hold at least 3 events in the upcoming fall semester.

Thems is Cepheids group for those who feel like the labels of Fight night or Spa Day don’t fit. We are a safe place for all! Join fellow members to chat about gender stuggles, chill out, or simply meet others who may be similar to you!
