balls of FURY
So, it was seriously a watchable movie. I'm not Maggie Q's biggest fan, but she was reasonably nice eye candy. Walken was over the top. There was homoerotic humor. Blowdarts. Ping pong.
Not everyone's cup of tea, but I've paid for worse.

Movie reviews (in brief)
Going over the highlights for this summer:
Sunshine rocked. Totally Danny Boyle.
Rush Hour 3 was a goddamn trainwreck. I'm still bitter about watching it.
War was awesome. I heard it was getting panned over at Rotten Tomatoes, I can only assume that the critics put their manhoods aside while watching it.
The Invasion was much, much better than I expected. It changed a lot from the book, but the book was a somewhat mystical anti-Communism tract. The movie functions as a creepy thriller pretty well, and manages to keep the audience engaged despite the lack of first-person narrative that the book relied on.
Rescue Dawn was good, and felt quite a bit shorter than I'd expected. It really didn't seem to pull any punches, but also didn't bog itself down in the morality issues like typical Vietnam flicks (Platoon, FMJ, Apocalypse Now). The actors were all fantastic in their roles.
Skinwalkers was so bad. So very, very bad. I guess it's good that B movies can still be made and distributed, but wow.
And Superbad was superawesome. Quirky, and it tried really hard to be shocking at points, but funny throughout.
