(Sorry those comments got posted so late, I wish MT would autopublish non-spam comments, but alas)
It's part of an article on Egyptian wedding customs, how they relate to old traditions and whatnot. That particular bit covers the way cake cutting is currently done, and the shouting that the women at the ceremony do afterwards (a little like a Mexican grito).
I posted it in my blag because I needed to use wordchamp.com to get definitions real quick (was doing homework before class ;) and for it to do the web reader, well, the text in question has to be on a web page.
