Schlockfest 6:
What's with the Island?

Rules and Application

Cepheid Variable's Schlockfest is our annual salute to homemade films in the general genres of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror. The competition is open to everyone, as is the general screening. There are no admission fees and no entry fees, in keeping with the idea of a shoestring budget. Be inventive, be surprising, be funny, have fun, and share your artistic vision with us all. Winners garner the prestige of the illustrious Carl of Cthuhu Award for Schlock Excellence. The submission deadline for this year's competition is Monday, October 28th, and the screenings will be held on October 31 and November 1. The first evening consists of classic schlock films, previous winners, and professional and semi-professional short films, including the Oscar™ nominated short "Rejected". The second evening consists of this year's entries and the awards ceremony. For additional information go to http://cepheid.tamu.edu.
